New York, NY—August 20th, 2009— Soho Editors Inc. recently announced a significant reduction in price for their Gold Level Apple Certified training--positioning them as the most affordable training center in New York and the East Coast. While many people have had an interest in breaking into the post-production industry or expanding their existing editorial skill set, until the recent surge in unemployment most have not had the time, motivation or financial resources to do so--Soho Editors is hoping to change that.

The shift in Soho Editors pricing coincides directly with the release of the latest upgrade to Final Cut Studio. The new package offers several new applications including Final Cut Pro 7, Motion 4, Soundtrack Pro 3, Color 1.5 and Compressor 3.5, creating a significant surge in demand for professional training.

“By making Soho Editors training classes more affordable, we are opening up Apple Certified Training to a whole new market,” explains Kristen Harold, Soho Editors Manager of Post Production Training. “Students, recent graduates or those displaced by the recession may have had the passion to break into the post-production industry, but not the resources to make it happen. Providing opportunity and accessibility has become our focus.”

By offering more affordable courses, Soho Editors is essentially opening their doors to anyone who wants to further their career in the industry. With the recent update in pricing, they are now the only training center on the East Coast that offers such high quality Apple Certified training for under $1,000. Until now, that was unheard of.
