This course is designed for Premiere Pro users, those new to DaVinci Resolve and those new to remote collaboration.

  • Learn how to set up a Blackmagic Cloud library on the Blackmagic Cloud Server.
  • Learn how to set up your Cloud Store devices so they sync with each other via dropbox.
  • Learn how to configure dropbox to control permissions and media access for individual collaborators.
  • Learn best practice when setting up project folder structures and permissions for Cloud Store media management and collaborator Cloud Stores.
  • Learn how to generate proxies and distribute them to collaborators.
  • Learn how to create collaborative projects in DaVinci Resolve.
  • Learn how to organise bins when collaborating so everyone stays happy .
  • Learn how to work with and understand collaborative bin locking and timeline locking function.

Students should have the following prerequisite knowledge prior to attending the course:

  • Knowledge of OS X and basic computer navigation
  • Basic knowledge of an NLE is recommended

All students will receive a Soho Editors Training attendance certificate.
